Updating Ubuntu

Hi!

From time to time the update notifier reminds me that I haven't updated Ubuntu for while. But when I try to reload the package list, I get a error message telling me to use "apt-cdrom", but I don't understand what I'm supposed to do.

Help appreciated.

Go to System-->Administration-->Software Sources and make sure the cdrom option is unchecked. I can't be a little more exact as you didn't specify what version you are using.
