    Yes you would do it all in the same Directory your teamviewer-host_15.53.6_amd64.deb is located.

    cd Downloads
    sudo dpkg - i teamviewer-host_15.53.6_amd64.deb
    ##Followed by
    sudo apt...

    By Golly I'm just stumped now. I see a lot of leftover .conf from past kernels.

    I have nothing concrete to suggest currently.

    dpkg -l | awk '/linux-[^ ]+-[0-9]/ {print $2}'
